Guest Relations Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide efficient and courteous service for guests including, but not limited to: check-in, checkout, telephone inquiries, luggage and & vehicle handling, taking reservation calls.
Establishing and maintaining business relationships with all Club level and VIP guests in the hotel and exceeding any of their needs.
Follow and maintain the Hotel’s Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Respond to all guest inquiries and requests as it relates to all Front Office processes by using the Hotel’s Property Management System service recovery model and ability to demonstrate problem resolution skills.
Member of the Hotel’s Emergency Response Team.
Maintain and balance a cash float during each shift worked.
Effectively communicate and record any information or requests to co-workers as necessary and ensure they are executed accurately to provide outstanding customer service.
Provide hotel guests with information and answering questions regarding activities/directions in the
Carry out all duties relative to Club level or VIP guest profiles. (Ex. Physical room checks, addition or deletion of items or amenities from room, delivery of amenities, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years previous Front Office experience in a luxury hotel required.
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of computer programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access.
Galaxy/Lightspeed knowledge preferred but not essential.
Hotel Restaurant Management diploma an asset.
Must present a professional appearance in adherence to Hotel grooming standards.
Must be willing to work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
